Aerial Silks with Lani Corson of 2 Ring Circus
In this workshop we will work to define your movement quality, navigating between technique and style through unconventional pathways and sequencing. With her background in dance and theatre, Lani’s coaching style focuses on motivating the “work” and finding your own unique voice in the air.
Prerequisites: ability to invert repeatedly in the air and mastery of basic foot knots/hip key

Lani Corson is an aerialist and variety performer based in NYC. Growing up in Maine, Lani spent her formative years in the dance studio and on any stage that would have her, and later went on to receive a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University. In her travels she was introduced to aerial arts – an extension of dance with an element of excitement. What began as a hobby quickly became a passion, and she is now a full-time circus performer and aerial instructor. Lani is Co-Managing Director of 2 Ring Circus, teaches at Aerial Arts NYC, Body & Pole and is a faculty member at Pace University.
2 Ring Circus is a New York-based theatrical circus company that strives to merge the art of circus with the heart of the Big Apple: Broadway.
